PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Product Details

DAF systems effectively remove hard - to - settle light flocs, coagulated gels, oily substances, etc., from wastewater, achieving solid - liquid separation. They excel at eliminating oils, fine suspended particles, and reducing COD, BOD, and TSS. Each system is customized based on hydraulic load, TSS, and FOG levels.

In operation, pressurized, air - saturated water mixes with coagulated water. When pressure is released, tiny bubbles rise, carrying suspended solids and light liquids (like FOG and hydrocarbons) to the DAF tank surface, where they're scraped off. Clean water overflows into sewers or the next treatment stage, with adjustable overflow levels. Sludge on the DAF surface is scraped into a hopper. Automation is via a PLC in the system's control cabinet.

Benefits

(1) High capacity, efficiency, and compact footprint.

(2) Simple design for easy use and maintenance.

(3) Prevents sludge bulking.

(4) Removes surfactants and odors, boosts dissolved oxygen for subsequent treatment.

(5) Effective for low - temperature, low - turbidity, and algae - containing water.

Applications

DAF separates fine suspended solids, algae, and microflocs from water. It's applied in:

(1) Waste oil/grease separation/recovery: in petroleum, biodiesel, machining, food production, and catering.

(2) High - strength organic wastewater treatment: removing suspended solids in papermaking, dyeing, textile, leather, pharmaceutical, and fermentation wastewater.

(3) Bio - treatment solid - liquid separation: separating solids from liquids in anaerobic, aerobic (activated sludge, contact oxidation, filtration) effluents, and secondary clarifier effluents.

(4) Farm and slaughterhouse wastewater treatment: Treating wastewater from livestock farming and slaughtering.

(5) Manufacturing waste treatment: Treating manufacturing wastes like electroplating and painting.

(6) Water purification: cleaning rivers, landscape waters, and recirculating water.
