PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Sludge scrapers are used for sludge thickening, collection, and discharge in sedimentation tanks of urban sewage or industrial wastewater treatment.
Structure
Sedimentation tank scrapers come in full - bridge, half - bridge, and truss types:
Full/half - bridge scrapers are for circular radial sedimentation tanks. They consist of a working bridge, a central rotating support, scrapers, a flow - guiding cylinder, a drive unit, and a debris - blocking device. They suit DN5 - DN50 tanks with varying capacities.
Truss - type scrapers are for rectangular horizontal flow sedimentation tanks. They are composed of a working bridge, a drive unit, scrapers, and a sludge lift pump.
The drive unit rotates the scrapers around the tank center. After solid - liquid separation in the tank, clear liquid flows over the weir plate. Floor - settled sludge is slowly moved by logarithmic spiral scrapers to the central collection hopper and discharged via a pipe. Surface debris is pushed to a collection area by scrapers and a debris - blocking plate. When the working bridge passes a debris - discharge cylinder, it submerges it, and debris is discharged through the cylinder.
The scrapers, in a logarithmic spiral curve form and supported by rubber wheels, move along the tank floor, offering good sludge - scraping performance with minimal floor requirements and strong adaptability.
In addition to the main scraping device, a special auxiliary one is installed, enabling half - bridge scrapers to function like full - bridge ones.
The working bridge, built with a truss structure and steel grating, boasts high strength, light weight, and low energy consumption.
Solid rubber drive wheels eliminate the need for tracks, simplifying construction and installation.
Underwater components are made of stainless steel, and above - water parts are of hot - galvanized carbon steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and a long service life.
