The screw press sludge dewatering machine is specifically designed for the efficient concentration and dewatering of liquid sludge generated during the wastewater treatment process. Typical applications in wastewater treatment plants include the dewatering of concentrated or unconcentrated waste activated sludge (WAS), digested sludge produced by aerobic or anaerobic processes, and dissolved air flotation (DAF) sludge.
The screw press sludge dewatering machine adopts the automatic cake filtration renewal technology, replacing the traditional filter screen filtration, ensuring the continuous and stable separation effect of sludge and water in the dewatering machine. Through the changes in the screw diameter and pitch, as well as the tiny gap between the movable ring and the fixed ring, a powerful squeezing force is generated to achieve the extrusion and dewatering of the sludge, which is a new type of solid-liquid separation equipment.

Workflow

(1) The sludge is transported to the feed inlet by the sludge conveyor.
(2) The sludge is transported to the flocculation tank through the metering tank and is fully mixed by the agitator.
(3) After large flocs are formed, the sewage is transported to the screw press.
(4) The flocs move from the concentration zone to the dewatering zone under the action of gravity.
(5) The gap between the movable ring and the fixed ring becomes narrower, the pressure of the end plate increases, the dewatering effect is enhanced, and finally the filter cake is discharged.
